letter to Heaven.
Joyce
Henrietta Brawls
My mums name was Joyce Henrietta Brawls,
she was born on 8/19/1935 and was diagnosed
with multiple myeloma in July 2001.
She faced her illness with amazing courage and
optimism,
she was always smiling,she had a beautiful smile.
Joyce was completely
selfless and compassionate,
i felt safe and loved when i was with her.
My dad, who
was her partner for 36 years and myself took care of her for the 7
years of her
illness.
In February 2008 when it became clear Joyce was losing her
fight
she chose
to die at home with myself and Jimmy, my dad.
At 6pm on the 27th February Joyce
passed peacefully from this life to begin her new life with God and her
family who
had gone before.
We will always miss her, i spent every day with my mum,
We were
never apart.
I know we will be reunited one day but the pain of living
without her
will never leave me. God love you and keep you safe mum and remember
"I love you
more than all the tea in China". xxx
